Ohashiatsu is a Japanese
unique form of bodywork. Like other Eastern therapies,
Ohashiatsu manipulates the energy within the body and uses
a framework of Eastern philosophy called KI (Japanese
word for CHI). Ohashiatsu combines hands-on touch techniques,
gentle exercises and stretches, and meditations in a seamless
flow of movement. Ohashiatsu is an energizing experience
as well as on a physical, psychological and spiritual level.
The emphasis of Ohashiatsu is on communication and synergism
between giver and receiver and their self-development.
Sessions will balance your energies so that your body can
follow its natural impulse to heal itself. Deep relaxation
of the body, mind, and spirit will bring rejuvenation,
harmony, and peace.
Sessions last about one hour and are received
fully clothed on a comfortable Japanese-style mat, called
a futon. You will be able to release your accumulated stress
in a serene setting with soothing music.
